2. ICE PACK

Compressing an ice pack over your forehead also offers a quick headache relief. Cold compress can also be achieved by using a cold cloth. You can also use a bag of frozen vegetables as an alternative to ice pack. Cold compress works by numbing the pain and shrinking the blood vessels. Finding a dark, quiet place to relax for at least thirty minutes will help you to stop the pain. You need to turn off the lights, shut the blinds and concentrate on hoe you breathe. You can use an eye mask to completely block off the light. Try to meditate as you visualize relaxation.

5. EXERCISE

Try doing some exercise as this will help you release endorphin’s. Endorphin’s have natural properties that fight stress and pain. A ten minute walk would work for this case.

6. NECK MASSAGE

Neck massage helps to relief headache that’s due to stress or tension. It relaxes the muscles and relieves your pain.
